Training Overview
The history of Imprimis is steeped in training. In the early days of the company, we developed very detailed and technical training for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) using highly structured training development guidelines such as TRADOC 350-70. The courses were developed for in-class instruction and computer-based training using Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) techniques. These courses have successfully trained soldiers and operators of this complex yet critical national security asset for well over a decade. When you hear in the news about missile defense systems being deployed there is a good chance the soldiers were trained by Imprimis.
Since those days, Imprimis has expanded its training facilities and subject matter. The present focus is on cybersecurity - for the professional and non-professional alike. A number of courses have been developed and are being delivered in the classroom or customer premises, through webinars and in on-line courses. Imprimis maintains a Learning Management System (LMS) that supports customers, students, and the public with information and know-how in the cyber compliance area.
Webinars & Webcasts
Webinars are produced monthly covering current topics and responding to requests from listeners. The live webinars are free to viewers along with a great deal of referrence material. The live webinars are recorded and archived along with webcasts on the Imprimis Insider site and can be view by members at any time. A sample of webinar topics have included ...
